What is NeurOptimal®?

NeurOptimal® is an advanced automated form of neurofeedback. NeurOptimal® is a 100% non-invasive, drug-free brain training system that helps the central nervous system (CNS) make the best use of your brain's natural resources.

NeurOptimal® was developed by Clinical Psychologists, Dr. Valdeane Brown and Dr Susan Brown. Having vast experience within the neurofeedback community, they developed the first and only Dynamical Neurofeedback® system in the world, which is substantially different from other linear neurofeedback systems.

How does NeurOptimal® work?

20170707 Neuroptimal Stock 188.jpg

NeurOptimal® uses sensors to read the brain’s electrical activity and provides that information to the brain in real time. This is done through auditory cues whilst listening to music. This information gives ‘feedback’ to the brain about its current functioning, including any sub-optimal or maladaptive patterns. The brain uses this information to (re)organise itself. When the brain goes through this process of re-organising itself, a lot of challenges can be alleviated as the brain decides to adopt more adaptive ways of being and responding to its environment. As the neurofeedback training progresses, the brain becomes increasingly more flexible and resilient and the individual goes through a powerful transformation.

Research  using NeurOptimal®

NeurOptimal® has been around for over 20 years now and NeurOptimal® trainers have countless success stories to tell about their clients’ life changing transformation after brain training with NeurOptimal®.

Research has been conducted on the impact of NeurOptimal® on varying conditions, such as ADHD, Autism, Anxiety-Depression, PTSD, Stress, Sleep, Chemo Brain (Cancer Therapy), Alzheimers, Addiction, Peak Performance, amongst others. To learn more about these studies, click here.
